    We joined Jennifer and Yadine at Mangetsu no Hana - the really popular places fill up early as most are very small.

    It's poured in front of you until the glass overflows into the wooden box

    retail therapy (with air-conditioning). Fish shaped waffles - only in Japan?

    Bracken starch is popular - delicious matcha flavour

    Roasted green tea flavour dessert with brown sugar syrup

    Back in Kyoto, we choose a local ef-service buffet

    Mystery pot almost empty - very delicious rice dish, we couldn't manage all of it.
